McDonald’s Is Launching Plant-Based McNuggets Next Week

Another vegan menu item is being added by McDonald’s, which could offend more steadfast consumers.

Next Monday, the Chicago-based fast food juggernaut will roll out vegan McNuggets.

With California-based manufacturer of plant-based meats Beyond Meat, the product is now being co-developed.

With a tempura batter, the McPlant Nuggets will be manufactured from peas, maize, and wheat.

The newest product will undergo its first market testing in Germany.

It will be McDonald’s second plant-based product on the menu.
