Wait On God, He Will Give You What You Need In Time

Waiting on God is not only difficult – sometimes it seems impossible because we live in a culture that demands everything now or even yesterday. We want things to happen in our own timing, according to our plans. Sometimes, the prayers we lift up to the Lord are answered immediately, and that encourages us to further trust and confidence. What do you do when your faith is being tested, how do you handle a prayer not being answered immediately, how long can you bare waiting…. God doesn’t operate on our schedules, and expecting that He will, will bring disappointment. ⠀

I can understand growing weary, frustrated, and even becoming doubtful to the point of giving up because the wait is discouraging you. You’re believing in God for something to change that is taking longer than you expected. Maybe it’s your marriage, maybe you’re longing for a loving relationship, a financial crisis, a lost son/daughter, a job, a promotion, your health. You’re beginning to wonder if God is even listening. Remember, if God said it then so shall it be. He is not a man that He should lie nor repent. (Numbers 23:19). God’s timing is perfect and since He is perfect we can have the joy in waiting.

I want to encourage you my brothers and my sisters to keep praying His promises over your life… “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9).” No matter how long you may have been standing, don’t give up! Don’t allow circumstances and trials to persuade you off course because your season is coming. Your harvest of blessing is on its way. It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or next year. Remember, at the right time you will experience your breakthrough. Once we grasp the understanding of God’s promises will have the patience and confidence in waiting.
