A Chanel Boutique At Fashion Valley Mall Was Robbed Of Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Merchandise 

A Chanel boutique at Fashion Valley mall was targeted twice this month by groups of shoplifters who stole thousands of dollars in designer items, according to San Diego police.

The incidents occurred on Nov. 3 and Nov. 8 at the boutique located inside Nordstrom, Lt. Adam Sharki said Wednesday.

According to the Chanel website, there are handbags listed for $5,000 – $10,000 and more. 

Earlier this month, California officials announced they would be sending over $267 million  to 55 cities and counties to specifically crack down on arrests and prosecutions for organized retail crime.
