Damson Idris Calls Out “Grown Black Men” For Unprovoked Hatred Of Black Women

“Snowfall” star Damson Idris utilized Instagram to deliver a message specifically aimed at Black men, addressing the recent surge of unwarranted animosity directed towards Black women.

Damson shared the message to his Instagram Stories, which reads: “I see so much unprovoked hatred towards black women today by predominantly grown black men. Especially towards our young stars that are just trying to do their thing. The compulsion to humble these women perhaps makes you feel like more of a man. I promise you, you aren’t men to us. A new year is approaching. Grow up.”

Amidst the public eye, several Black female entertainers, notably Megan Thee Stallion, have voiced their grievances on the unjust treatment they have endured. Following Tory Lanez’s conviction for shooting Megan, she published an essay through Elle detailing the profound psychological distress she experienced during the trial.

Regarding the public insults, Megan expressed, “The truth is that I started falling into a depression. I didn’t feel like making music. I was in such a low place that I didn’t even know what I wanted to rap about. I wondered if people even cared anymore. There would be times that I’d literally be backstage or in my hotel, crying my eyes out, and then I’d have to pull Megan Pete together and be Megan Thee Stallion.”
