Netflix Set To Release A “Squid Game” Video Game

An upcoming video game based on the world of “Squid Game” will be available on Netflix.

“Compete with other players in games from the hit series.” That’s what the new release promises, according to the description.

In addition to releasing its 2024 game lineup, which includes “Sonic Mania Plus” and “Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit,” the streamer revealed the title on Wednesday.

This is the most recent reveal from Netflix’s gaming division, following its November rollout of several in-the-works games.

“By year’s end, we’ll have 86 games available —all included with every Netflix membership without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees,” Netflix vice president of games Mike Verdu said in a blog post. “And with nearly 90 more games in development, we’re just getting started.”
