Raven Symone is remembering her younger brother Blaize Pearman, who died at age 31 after a two-year battle with colon cancer.
“Last month, I lost my brother … He is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed,” she said in a short video posted to Instagram Monday. “The emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and family have been a roller coaster.”

The Raven’s Home star, who marked her 38th birthday on Sunday, added in the caption of her post, “Thank you for all the love yesterday. It was felt beyond. Hard to fully celebrate knowing that I’m here and he is not.”
