Stranger Things Creators, The Duffer Brothers, Say They Will Not Consult Social Media On How The Show Should End

Matt added: “I think one very particular way to fail is to attempt to appease everybody.”

“We have a huge variety of fans that span a huge age range and I’m sure they have all their own ideas of how they want the show to end.”

“But we’re not consulting social media on this. Then you just hope and pray that it resonates. But it was funny: once we got there, it just felt right and we’re going to go for it!”

The brothers jest that with the conclusion of the series, they will likely experience the five stages of grief, expressing their melancholy at parting ways with the characters they conceived nearly a decade ago.

CBR reports that the production of Stranger Things was postponed as a result of the SAG writers’ strike. Nevertheless, the screenplay has now been finished.

The release date is yet to be announced.
