A 24-year-old woman tragically lost her life on a Brooklyn street on Thursday, after an incident involving an enraged motorist escalated beyond control. Witnesses described the situation as a heated dispute within a love triangle.
According to authorities, a violent incident unfolded during an altercation outside NYCHA’s Pink Houses in East New York. It was reported that a woman driving a gray sedan collided with another woman who had been engaged in an argument with a man on the sidewalk. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, there was a physical altercation and verbal dispute between the victim and the man, who is believed to be her boyfriend. Footage obtained by a news outlet reveals that the driver had previously attempted to strike the individual, who narrowly avoided being hit by the vehicle. Following the initial altercation, the individual forcefully brings the victim down to the ground. Subsequently, the driver returns and tragically strikes the victim with their vehicle.

The sedan quickly departs while the man rushes over to the victim, who appears motionless and unresponsive on the sidewalk.
“I saw everything in slow motion happen, just her going, the car,” said Christian Molina, 20, who said he saw the tragedy from his window.
“All I saw was [the victim’s] head coming out from the side of the car, and [her] just rolling. Her body twisted, and the car went on top of the sidewalk, and I just heard that crack. Oh, that crack. I saw her head. She was laying face first on her stomach.”
According to authorities, the woman sustained serious injuries to her head and body. She was quickly taken to Brookdale University Medical Center, but unfortunately, her life could not be saved. The authorities have not yet disclosed her identity as they work to locate her family members.
According to police sources, the driver made a quick getaway in the sedan, while the man was apprehended at the scene. Authorities were diligently searching the area on Friday, hoping to gather any valuable information that could lead to the identification of the woman responsible for the incident.
“All I remember is that they were just arguing,” Molina said. “She was expressing her feelings and emotions and the guy was just being [difficult]. He was trying to leave with the side girl in the car. He hopped in the back of the car and [she] was like ‘Yo, are you really gonna do me like that? I came to your birthday, you was doing this? You don’t love me!’
“And I’m like, ‘Damn’ I felt like going downstairs and telling her, ‘Just leave that guy alone. He’s not for you.’ You know what I’m saying?”
