BREAKING: In a recent development, a jury in a Manhattan criminal court has reached a verdict in the case involving Marvel star Jonathan Majors. The jury found Majors guilty of one count of assault and one count of harassment. However, they acquitted him of another count of assault and one count of aggravated harassment. These charges were in connection with an alleged incident involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, which reportedly took place in the backseat of an SUV back in March.
The decision was reached following approximately 5 hours of deliberations spread out over three days.
Majors anxiously awaited the verdict, seated at the defense table in a sleek grey suit, flanked by defense attorneys Priya Chaudhry and Seth Zuckerman. Seated behind him are his current girlfriend, actress Megan Good, and members of his family.
Jabbari recounted the incident where Majors caused her harm, resulting in a fractured finger and a lacerated ear. This occurred when she attempted to take hold of his phone upon seeing a message from another woman that read, “I wish I was kissing you.” The defense claimed that Jabbari fabricated her allegations as an act of retaliation for Majors ending their relationship.
