Texas High School Basketball Player And Older Brother Beat Up Coach After Game For Getting Benched

A Texas high school basketball player assaulted his coach in a parking lot following his benching for unsportsmanlike conduct during a game earlier that evening.

Jevin Allen, aged 17, and his brother Jarrick Allen, aged 22, were apprehended on December 5th for their suspected involvement in a physical attack that resulted in the coach sustaining injuries to his head, neck, face, and arms, as stated by officials.

The coach, whose identity remains undisclosed, reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that Jevin was excluded from participating in the away game as a consequence of his conduct towards a player from the opposition team. Authorities reported that upon the coach’s arrival to Willis High School in Conroe, Texas, at approximately 9:52 p.m. following the game, he discovered that the teenager and his family were waiting for him in the parking lot.
