TMZ reported that Darius McCrary, known for his role in Family Matters, was arrested last month for allegedly failing to pay child support.
This marks the second time he has been taken into custody for this alleged delinquency. McCrary and his wife Tammy Brawner officially ended their marriage in 2019, following a lengthy legal process that began four years earlier due to his alleged non-payment of child support.
As part of the divorce settlement, McCrary has been ordered to make monthly payments of $1,366. It’s worth noting that he had already accumulated a significant debt by the time the agreement was finalized. McCrary was arrested on November 27 and entered a plea of not guilty.
According to court docs, he had an outstanding arrearage of $52,788.04 as of March 12, 2019.
McCrary entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment, with the judge imposing bond conditions of $13,197.01 and requiring him to be monitored by a GPS device.
According to online records, he is still in custody.
