Atlanta Scammers Charged $40K At Lenox Square Mall & Didn’t Get Caught

Atlanta police are currently seeking two individuals who have been linked to nearly $40,000 worth of fraudulent purchases.

On November 17, 2023, officers from APD responded to a residence on Ponce De Leon Avenue in relation to a reported case of credit card fraud.

Upon the arrival of the officers, they were greeted by the victim who informed them that he had received a new credit card which was being delivered to his residence via UPS.

Unfortunately, the card was intercepted and stolen.

The victim was informed by the police about several fraudulent purchases made with his credit card at Lenox Square and nearby businesses in the area, amounting to almost $40,000.

The investigation is still in progress.

The APD Fraud Unit is seeking to identify a suspect and a person of interest in the case.
