Rihanna hasn’t gotten around to releasing her son’s name or face with the public yet, not out of malice. The singer recently talked about being a mother, her forthcoming appearance at the Super Bowl, and the new songs that people have been clamoring for.
According to reports, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child in May, but the public has yet to see the little fashionista.
“We just didn’t get around to it, really, we’ve just been living,” Rihanna said told the Associated Press. “I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kinda just like getting it out there. The challenge is we wanna do regular sh*t with our baby.” Rihanna added, “But, since we haven’t gotten ’round to sharing him with the world, we have to navigate it extremely, extremely cautiously right now.”
Rihanna announced that she would perform at the halftime show in September. But in her interview with AP, she put an end to the largest rumor that followed the revelation.“
Super Bowl is one thing, new music is another thing. Do you hear that, fans? Because I knew the second that I announced this, I said, “oh my God, they’re going to think my album is coming,” she said. “I need to get to work.”
Even so, the new mother has been working on her Fenty business while spending time in the studio. The singer just released Lift Me Up. This is Rihanna’s first new song in six years, and it serves as the album’s first single for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Additionally, starting tomorrow, her Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4 will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
